Stories’ restaurant with a view. KARLA draws inspiration from the Noongar word for ‘fire,’ creating a culinary haven, where modern Asian cuisine cooked over flames and coals takes centre stage.
KARLA’s culinary team is led by Thai-born head chef, Ben Pienprasop – formerly of Melbourne’s iconic Chin Chin – and overseen by Exec Chef, Sundoo Kim, using only the freshest, locally sourced produce and native Australian ingredients. The carefully curated drinks list features over 100 Australian wines and spirits, complimented with cocktails showcasing native Australian flair.
Radiating a dark, moody ambiance, KARLA’s luxe décor is adorned with plush leather and decadent marble accents, creating an intimate dining experience, including a private dining space. Don’t overlook the meticulously designed bathrooms either… they’re a must-see.
